- Certified in: Fear Free Handling, Hands Free Radiology and Veterinary Acupuncture
- Involved in many aspects of veterinary medicine, beyond the clinic, as an instructor for the VA program @ VIU
- The current Vice President of the BC Veterinary Technologist Association
- I also volunteer with Helping Paws Nanaimo providing veterinary care to low income families

June 2024 marks 11 years since I received my first paycheck as an RVT and one year since I launched my locum RVT business. Back then, I never imagined I'd be featured on podcasts, or be nominated for veterinary awards, or have articles published in esteemed journals like West Coast Veterinarian. What a whirlwind It's been and how truly humbling to share the stage with professionals I've admired for years.

This year has really shown me the ripples on the pond we are all capable of manifesting through perseverance.

This month also signifies a significant shift as I hang up my RVT hat to pursue Veterinary Practice Management. I couldn't have achieved all of this without the support of my family, friends & mentors. My heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you. You give me the strength to, 'keep on keepin'
