The way we speak to ourselves shapes our entire experience. Yet for many of us, our inner dialogue is filled with criticism, judgment, and impossibly high standards.
Self-compassion isn't self-indulgence—it's the foundation that makes growth possible. When we treat ourselves with the same kindness we'd offer a dear friend, we create an internal environment where healing can flourish.
Try this: Place a hand on your heart and ask, "What words of kindness does this part of me need today?" Then offer those words to yourself, just as you would to someone you love.
