Since 2004 we are the only non-profit dedicated dementia care home in our region.

🌿 Do You Have an Extra Spider Plant? 🌿

We are looking for a healthy mother spider plant (with babies, if possible!) for our Nature Club Program here at Eden Gardens.

Our residents love spending time nurturing plants — repotting, watering, and watching them grow brings joy, purpose, and calm to their days. A mature spider plant will allow them to propagate new little plants, learn hands-on gardening skills, and enjoy a meaningful, sensory activity together.

If you happen to have a spider plant that needs a new home, we would be so grateful! 🌱
Donations can be dropped off at Reception anytime.

At Eden Gardens, we see the impact of dementia daily, and we are proud to stand with our residents, families, and staff in building understanding, compassion, and hope.

💙 A Friendship Stitched Together 💙

This is Edgar and Volunteer Leanne. Every week, Leanne sits beside Edgar to sew. Together they create bags, heating compresses… and moments filled with laughter, pride, and companionship.

For Edgar, it’s more than fabric and thread—it’s connection, dignity, and the joy of creating something meaningful. For Leanne, it’s the gift of sharing her time and heart, and being reminded that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a world of difference.

Our volunteers bring light, purpose, and comfort into the lives of our residents. And in return, they often find that their own lives are deeply enriched in ways they never imagined.
