***IMPORTANT REMINDER***
Most extended health care plans will cover naturopathic consultations as well as blood, urine, stool or saliva testing and most plans work on a calendar year - from January 1st - December 31st then the new year of coverage begins again. As we are now in the last quarter, we encourage patients or potential new patients to consider booking an appointment to make full use of their coverage and then follow ups can be done into the New Year when their coverage starts anew. For some patients, their health care coverage is best spent on consultations, while others may benefit more from having testing done. Some common tests that we often order that are not offered by MDs or covered by MSP include vitamin D levels, digestive bacteria/microbiome analysis, comprehensive hormone testing. If you are not sure how your plan may work, it is best to phone your insurance provider or look online to confirm. Please phone or email us if you’d like to order tests or book a consult.
