🖤 Grief and Art Therapy 🖌️
I recently lost my best friend to cancer.
We hiked together, raised our kids side by side, and journied through life together.
She made me laugh harder than anyone else — and now the silence she left behind is loud.
Grief has a way of reshaping everything.
In my own healing, I’ve turned to the tools I offer others: art, expression, and presence.
Through art therapy, I’ve been able to give shape to the grief — not to fix it, but to make space for it.
Drawing memories. Painting emotions I can’t name. Creating something when I feel like nothing makes sense.
You don’t need the right words to process loss. You don’t need to be “over it.”
You just need a place to show up — and art can be that place.
🕊️ If you’re grieving, you’re not alone.
At Farrell Arts, I hold space for those navigating loss — because I’m walking that path too.
