Exciting news for my fellow patchouli fans. 😁
I've been watching the market reports, and watching the price for patchouli essential oil to drop. Finally it did. 😲

Still way higher than it used to be, but a drop in price showed new stock and an increase in the patchouli harvest for essential oil to be made. So I bought more!!
Huge difference in the scent compared to the last batch. I'm not sure if we are quite back to the tenacity I loved, but now that the bars are dry, the scent remains, and my hands smell of patchouli from handling the dry bars. 🥰

🦋 So Hippy chick is back. 🦋
For now it is going to be sold by the bar or you can request one to be added to your wholesale mixed order. I want you to try it out and see what you think before we start offering wholesale orders again of just the Hippy Chick.
If I get enough positive feed back, I will then offer it on its own for wholesale orders. 😊👌

The holiday season had completely stripped my dry stock down to a handful of dry bars! 😲 (Thankyou! 💕)

I have been quietly working in the background to restock my bins and fill all my drying racks while making soap for orders. Restocking over 50 different regular stocked bars has been quite the challenge, but I'm getting there. 😊👍
This is a reminder that you won't be finding me at the Island Roots Farmer's Market until the middle of May when we move back outside.
In the mean time, curbside pick-up of orders from my home continues on as usual. So whether you are wanting a couple bars, or a wholesale box, your favourite bubbly goodness is just a message away. 😁👌

💕Island Rain Natural Soap is 100% all natural soap made with the finest ingredients, including organically grown botanicals we grow ourselves on site.
For many like myself, real all natural soap is not a luxury, it is a necessity. At only $3.50 per bar before tax, this makes our luxury all natural soap, in more than 50 different choices..... affordable for all. 💕

WHOLESALE SOAP is freshly made when you order, and will need to dry for four weeks from the date it was made once you take it home. You will receive a couple of dry bars in your order to hold you, while the rest of your order finishes air drying.

All 50+ of our bars can be ordered at the wholesale price of $38. 50 ($43.12 including tax) for a half batch of 11 bars, or $77 ($86.24 including tax) for a full batch of 22 bars.

What if you are just wanting a bar or two? 🤔
Of course we do that too! Single bars that are wrapped, labeled and ready to be used, are $4.50 each ($5.04 including tax)

Good morning from Simon and I as he helps Gramma crush olive oil containers. 👋😁

It has been a couple of crazy busy months, but I believe that I have completed all orders on hand. 🎉🎉

That being said though.... I have been averaging four hours of sleep for the past five weeks, so the chance of human error throwing a giant wrench into the efficiency of my one woman cottage industry/Gramma's house is running very high. 😜

I really want to thank the five different people that did a patient check-in on their orders to find that their order had gotten lost in the mayhem. That way I could quickly get them made and not leave anyone disappointed at the last minute.

The chance there might be a couple more people patiently waiting for me to message them that their soap is ready to go though, has me writing this post. If you are still waiting on an order, your order has been misplaced, shredded by the dog, or hidden in one of Simon's many secret stashes for favourite toys and bottles. Please message me and I'll get it made up for you quickly. 😊👌

I'm fully loaded with all my wholesale aroma therapy gift boxes, single bars, and new this week.... Ready to give gift bags! 😁👍

Each gift bag contains 4 different bars of soap in a mix of lavender, woodsy/spicy, or citrusy /minty bars. They also come with one of our sparkly metallic look Island Rain leaf soap dishes.

These gift bags will be available for curbside pick-up at my place through the rest of the week as well. If you come to the Nanaimo Farmers' Market - Island Roots today though 3-6 at Beban Park, you can choose your own four bars and soap dish, and I'll make it up into a gift bag while you browse through the rest of the Market.

If you would like a complimentary "Thank you" gift tag to make it a lovely hostess gift, you can grab one of those off me as well.

I have a fully loaded truck with a battery apparently so dead, it won't even start with a boost. So I am so sorry for the ones who ventured out in the rain to the Nanaimo Farmers' Market - Island Roots and don't find me there.
I'm going to haul everything back into the house . If you want to arrange a curbside pickup at my home in the hospital area of whatever you'd hoped to get off me at the Market, I can run it out to the vehicle for you so you don't get wet twice.

Our gift giving preferences here on the island have been leaning more and more towards sustainable, consumable, and made local. 💕
