As the Administrator, who is self-administering your group plan, it is important to ensure your employee assigns a beneficiary for their group life insurance. Then keep the original signed documents in their file, or mail them to the insurance company.

Your Basic Life insurance benefit is payable to the beneficiary you name in writing when you enrol or apply for coverage. If you do not designate a beneficiary, the insurance on your life will be paid to your estate. Sign on to RWAM Plan Member Services (https://planmember.rwam.com) to confirm who you have assigned as your beneficiary, and if you wish to make a change use the Beneficiary Change form available for download from the page.
