We’re excited to share that KCHC and our partners have been awarded major multi-year funding from the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul, through the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area — the largest collaborative grant initiative in the Foundation’s history!

This support will help us launch and expand programs that strengthen children, youth, families, and older adults across Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington, including:

Exercise, Education & Social Time for Older Adults – With the support of the Canadian Frailty Network, we are bringing wellness programs like Otago Exercise and Strong Bones to rural communities to build strength, balance, and social connection.

HIPPY Early Learning Program – Through a partnership with KEYS Employment & Newcomer Services & Kingston Native Centre and Language Nest - KNCLN, we will begin supporting families through home visits that help parents prepare their children for school success.

Collaborative Care for Students – With the Limestone District School Board, we will begin strengthening school and family supports through integrated mental health, learning, and community programs.

Together, these initiatives help people of all ages live healthier, more connected lives — right here in our community. Stay tuned for more details on each of these exciting programs!
