We may have hit a record number of dogs on one of our group hikes 😍. We enjoyed a nice stroll at the Sidney conservation Area this morning, and even had some homemade mini egg carrot cake cookies made by Neil (not shown in the photos because we ate them too fast 😂😂).
We've got a special event coming up in 2 weeks where we will hike a trail filled with art displays! Email katherinet@kchc.ca if you want to join us.

New to the Good Food Box? Here's a quick overview!

The Good Food Box is a monthly produce box that anyone in the Kingston area can order. We have pickup points around the city, plus in Napanee, Sydenham, Amherstview, and Northbrook.
The produce changes every month, depending on what is in season and well-priced. In the Large Box and Small Box, you'll typically get consistent staples (potatoes, carrots, onions, apples, bananas, etc.), plus other fruits and veggies that rotate.

We work with a local wholesaler to get you the best deal we can. The cost ends being way less than what you'd pay retail at the grocery store. And it's often fresher!

There's no membership, no qualifying criteria, and no commitment - just order for the months that work for you. You can order with a credit card on our website, or pay in cash at KCHC's clinic reception at 263 Weller Ave (Monday-Friday, 9-4).

Orders are due on the 2nd Thursday of the month, for pickup on the third Thursday. For April, that means orders are due on the 9th, and pickup is on the 16th. Check out our website for a list of Host Sites, our lovely partners who offer a location to pick up your Good Food Box: www.goodfoodboxkingston.com

Got questions? Share them in the comments, or send us a message anytime. 🙂

March is Nutrition Month! This year’s theme, “Nourish to Flourish,” highlights the connection between food and overall well-being. Food is more than just fuel. It’s connection, culture, comfort, and a key part of living well. Take some time this month to nourish both your mind and body by trying a new recipe from Dietitians of Canada. https://ow.ly/Iu3P50YyC2I
