Another one of my favourite treatments to do!!! This beauty’s progress after only 2 treatments :)

PCDC fat dissolving treatments, also known as lipolysis injections, target and break down fat cells in specific areas, offering a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. These injections use a combination of phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholic acid, both of which naturally occur in the body and aid in fat breakdown. The procedure involves injecting the PCDC mixture into the desired area, causing the fat cells to absorb the substances, inflame, and eventually burst, releasing their contents. The body then metabolizes and eliminates these fatty contents, leading to a reduction in fat and a more contoured appearance. 
* How it works:
PCDC injections work by disrupting the membranes of fat cells, causing them to break down and release their contents. 

* Treatment area:
PCDC injections are effective for targeting stubborn fat deposits in areas like the chin, love handles, abdomen, and bra bulge. 

* Procedure:
The treatment involves a series of micro-injections. 

* Results:
Results are typically seen gradually over a few weeks as the body processes the released fat. 

* Downtime:
PCDC treatments generally require minimal downtime, with most patients able to resume normal activities immediately afterward. 

* Side effects:

What is Hyperhidrosis
Most people’s sweat glands start producing sweat when their body temperature goes up. Sweating is an essential function of the body as it keeps us from overheating. However, those with hyperhidrosis have overactive sweat glands. This leads to either the body sweating too much when its temperature increases or sweating when it shouldn’t be sweating at all.
One of the most common areas that people with hyperhidrosis see excessive sweat production is the underarms. Other areas include the face and head, the feet, and the palms.

How does Neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport) for Sweating Work?
Botox or Dysport is a neuromodulator, which means that the neurotransmitter released in the injections effectively blocks the release of moisture from the sweat glands. The nerves that are overproducing sweat are basically paralyzed when injected. The blocked nerves can’t send signals to the sweat glands, meaning sweat isn’t released.

How Long After Treatment Will I Stop Sweating
The results of injections aren’t immediate. The first signs of the effects may be seen a few days after treatment, but full benefits will take effect up to 2 weeks after treatment. 

How Long Will Results Last?
Results last between 6 and up to 12 months before treatment needs to be repeated.

Aftercare for Under Hyperhydrosis treatment
There is no downtime after treatments, even for underarms, and you can return to your normal activities right away. You may experience some tenderness around the treated area for a day or two and providers typically recommend that you avoid using deodorant or perfumed products on your underarms for up to 24 hours post-treatment. This helps to avoid any irritation at the injection sites. For this reason, you should also avoid hot baths and any intense exercise that may cause sweating under the arms.
