By maintaining respectful services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities that promote human rights, social change and inclusion; we will influence a sense of belonging and emotional security. At Community Living L&A we assist people who are developmentally disabled leading the way for inclusion by encouraging meaningful participation within the community through volunteerism, social opportunities and gainful employment. Our mission is to create diversity within our local community and to Inspire Possibilities. This is a cause we have passionately pursued since our beginnings. At CLL&A we continue to effect change by creating a positive influence of acceptance and broadening the true experience of Community Living. We also have a small retail outlet, The Hub at 27 Dundas Street West, which showcases the artwork, jewelry, woodworking and baked goods of our supported individuals and the local community.

Our supported individuals had a blast at the Fire Prevention Open House & Charity BBQ in support of the local Toy Drive. They got to climb inside the fire truck, try out the hose, and learn all about fire safety β€” all while helping a great cause! β€οΈπŸ‘©β€πŸš’

A big thank-you to our local firefighters for the warm welcome and for all they do to keep our community safe.

A huge Shout out from Executive Director Barb to the staff that prepared this delicious lunch! Staff from all department areas came together to prepare and celebrate this special lunch for Play Work Supports individuals and for Supported Independent Living folks. The Management Administrative team served to all!! A true TEAM effort!!! We enjoyed ham, stuffing, cranberries, beans, mashed potatoes corn, buns and of course....Pie πŸ₯§
