🏊‍♂️ Kokanee Freeze or Fry – July 26, 2025 🏊‍♀️
Ready to freeze or fry? Join us for the 1st Annual Kokanee Freeze or Fry Swim this Saturday, July 26th at Kokanee Public Beach Park!

✅ Voluntary registration and numbering: 7:30–7:55 AM on the beach
✅ Start time: 8 AM (possible staggered start in waves)
✅ Distance: ~1.63 km (dock → metal buoy → halfway back)
✅ Suggested donation: $20 (cash) – includes a cool swim cap, yummy post-swim snacks & bragging rights!

💡 What you need:

A partner to follow you (SUP, kayak, or beach walker)

Wetsuit & Swim Buddy buoy recommended

Come to the Uptown Sports Bar to enjoy a delicious burger and a beverage on Monday June 16th from 6-9pm and support our swimmers at the Kootenay Swim Club.
