Behaviour Strats

Behaviour Strats Behaviour Strats offers consultations/workshops/PD for staff and parents working with difficult behaviours

Behaviour Strats is a company that offers consultations for parents, caregivers, and educators who need assistance working with children demonstrating difficult behaviours. A Behaviour Interventionist will work with parents and caregivers, utilizing input from educational and medical staff where appropriate. Strategies are then developed and implemented for specific behaviours. Disruptive behaviours may be a result of social/emotional concerns, learning disabilities including ADHD, or diagnoses such as OCD, ODD or Autism Spectrum Disorder. Consultations can provide immediate strategies based on observed behaviours and descriptions of the antecedents and consequences. The Behaviour Interventionist will provide valuable strategies to model with children and adolescents. If you need strategies to work with a child or adolescent, we offer consultations on an hourly basis that can begin to change your interactions immediately. If you are doing the same thing over and over and getting the same results, contact Behaviour Strats today and move forward tomorrow!

" Let go of what costs your soul "
Whether or not she said these words??! I love the sentiment.

🌿 Meryl Streep once said she’s done begging for love, attention, or respect.
If she has to prove her worth, she knows — she’s in the wrong place.

Life is too short to stay where energy isn’t mutual.
She’s not afraid of aging — she’s afraid of losing herself just to please others.

These days, she chooses peace. Over everything. ✨

So ask yourself:
🤍 Am I clinging to what drains me?
🤍 Am I silencing my truth to keep others comfortable?

Real love doesn’t need a pitch.
Respect isn’t something you chase.
Let go of what costs your soul.
Choose you. Always.

Courage doesn't wait for permission ❤️

In the deeply segregated South of the 1950s, two brothers—Carl and Ronald McNair—were inseparable. Born just ten months apart in Lake City, South Carolina, they did everything together, even dream together. But no one could have imagined just how far those dreams would reach.
One afternoon in 1959, nine-year-old Ronald walked into the town’s public library, searching for science books far beyond his grade level. Carl tagged along, as always. Inside, white patrons stared. The librarian told Ronald plainly: “This library is not for coloreds.” But Ronald didn’t flinch. He placed his books on the counter, sat down, and quietly said, “I’ll wait.”
The police arrived. So did their mother. And that day, because of her insistence—and perhaps a flicker of decency in the officer—the boy was allowed to borrow the books.
Ronald never stopped reading. Never stopped learning. In 1976, he earned a PhD in Physics from MIT. He soon joined NASA, defying every odd. As Carl would later say, “Ron didn’t accept society’s limitations. That was for other people.”
In 1984, Ronald became the second African American astronaut to travel to space, flying aboard the Space Shuttle Challenger. He was living his dream—a mission specialist, a pioneer, a star among stars.
But on January 28, 1986, the Challenger broke apart just 73 seconds after liftoff. Ronald was 35 years old.
He never made it back to Earth. But in every sense, Ronald McNair had already reached the stars. His story still reminds us: courage doesn’t wait for permission. It takes a seat, holds its ground, and lifts off.

This week School of Rock Eden Prairie had the unique opportunity to perform at the Flyfest Ski Jumping Competition at Bush Lake Ski Jumps in Bloomington—on a stage made entirely of snow! ❄️

The event began with two of our students delivering a powerful performance of the National Anthem. As former and future Olympians soared up to 300 feet, our musicians kept the energy high with a dynamic setlist featuring songs like "Gimme Gimme" and "Crazy on You".

It was an epic event where world-class ski jumping and live music came together in an incredible setting. With a snow stage like no other, it was an event we won’t forget.🎿
