Women's Somatic Group Therapy - Healing Through the Relational Mirror

Learn through the somatic embodiment way to meet each member of the group as a mirror reflecting what needs tending to.

This intimate, trauma-informed, safely-held circle will be a pathway to recognize relational patterns & embody authentic wholeness in all relations. What happens in the somatic therapy group will naturally ripple out in a healthy way to your loved ones benefiting not just yourself but others too.

You will receive your own somatic remembering through the practice of listening to the body's felt-sense, understanding the attachment system and supporting the nervous system to recalibrate and regulate.

Ceremonial elements of circling like our ancestors would, will weave in to come into the body and bring balance of exploring the tender parts to then bring lightness to the group field too. Harmonizing in our authentic wholeness - light and dark are both equally celebrated, welcomed, and explored with loving awareness.

Singing, Dancing, Meditating and Supportive Gentle Touch will all be included throughout the 6 week series to co-create coherence, beauty and softening into love.

We will not be going into each individuals story's and past trauma, more so - we will be noticing how each individual shows up in relation to the circle in the here and now and how each person in the circle is an archetype reflecting where our healing and exploration can occur with the somatic embodied process. How we show up in the present is connected to our past traumas and past relationships.

The somatic processes will happen in the circle, in dyads and triads, as well as tracking our own inner experience and journaling about information that comes through staying curious, compassionate and aware of the nervous system response/reaction.

This is way beyond just a women's circle and not just a typical group therapy.

This is a POWERFUL, ALCHEMICAL commitment to Self, the circle and ALL our relations. For those seeking to learn, grow, become more embodied, love self/life and others more fully and become more integrated in the nervous systems intelligence than this could be for you!!

The play shop happening Wednesday October 8th is a trial to get a glimpse of what to expect - although the truth of the experience will come from the consistency, commitment and growth into more embodied safety over time in the 6 week closed container.

About the Somatic Group Therapist:
Amber Wolf Moon is an Evolutionary Embodiment Guide, Somatic Relational Therapist, Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, Yoga Teacher, and Sacred Ceremony Facilitator. She has supported beings of all walks of life world wide and brings her sacred soul service wherever she goes as that is her deepest devotion.
Her work was initiated through the spirit of her Mother who passed from su***de when she was 4. Her mother chose to leave from a deep yearning to belong and Amber's mission is to create safe spaces, circles, and 1-1 containers so the ones who work with her can feel an embodied sense of belonging to place, to self, and to loved ones.
Her 1-1 and group sessions online and in-person are greatly influenced by her Somatic Therapy practice, spiritual teachings, and deep attunement to creating a space where all her clients can feel safe to unwind the depth of their wholeness.
Grounded Wholeness Somatic Therapy being her business name was chosen as that is the feedback she continuously got from all clients leaving each session feeling more grounded, embodied, relaxed, and connected.
Amber has a fine skill of being able to hold the unbearable parts, experiences, and traumas that would be too much for a client to hold on their own. She gives her clients the tools to learn to be more embodied, aware of the nervous system response/reaction and have immense amount of resources to call upon when challenges and discomfort occurs.
Her focus is less on talk therapy and going into the past, and more on the felt sense experience of the body in present time awareness; cultivating a sense of equanimity to meet all parts of who we are with curiosity, compassion, and presence. She is passionate about integration and always offers tools that feel easeful to apply into everyday life.

A little introduction of who I am & my purpose here...

I am Amber - a radiant glowing warm light that emanates love, care and compassion. My mother named me Amber for being a rare gem and I feel that particular uniqueness I embody more and more. I am unapologetically owning it more and more.

Wolf Moon - birthed through my devotion to the Moon Goddess herself and my soul bond with my wolf dog. In my power I am wild, weird, silly and sensually primal through my expression.

The Moon is one of my greatest teachers and there is not one moon that has gone by that I have not honored her in full reverence for the past decade. I also feel honored and humbled by the 100's of women circles I have led under the New & Full Moons across Canada and across the world with so many skilled collaborators and holding it on my own with the power of the circle! The moon and the womb have great significance together that I am also constantly immersing myself in and discovering more of its magic as a passion!

My purpose here connects to Life & Death, Love & Separation, Light & Dark, Forgetting & Remembering, Community and Land, Spirit & Form. My purpose is in devotion to my mother who passed from su***de when I was 3 and evolving together as one - offering the healing she could not receive. She felt like she didn't belong. My mission is to support beings of all kinds to remember they do indeed BELONG. Everyone's love is a gift!

My sacred service of Somatic Relational Therapy, Counselling, Facilitating group offerings, Yoga Teaching & Ecstatic Dance Djing is in devotion to inspiring and empowering authentic embodiment and expression, journeying into our inner world wholeness, relational repair, nervous system attunement, building an abundance of inner/outer resources and remembering the gift of being in our body temple in celebration of life and honor of death.

Life is extremely precious and mysterious. When we give back to ourselves through being supported, held and served - life gives back to us!

WOW - utterly amazed to be making such an impact on my clients at this time with such ease and GRACE. My client who has been working with me consistently for the past few months online (never met in person) celebrated with me that she is no longer on anti-depressants because of the integrative tools she has embodied from our sessions.

That is a massive victory!! A lot of people who follow or work with me know that my service/soul work has been in devotion to my mothers spirit/healing of what she couldn't access in her own mental health struggles. For her, anti-depressants was her only way of surviving in the hardship of life not feeling like she ever belonged. There has also been speculations of anti-depressants not supporting her and being that voice in her head telling her to end it all with su***de which she then did.

I always steered clear of anti-depressants, even at my most challenging lows and have absolutely no-judgement for those that are on it but it truly saddens me that it is become more 'normal' when in fact what is needed is trauma resolution, somatic relational holding, a new way to relate to the WHOLE of our being, integrative EMBODIED tools and a support TEAM that is cheering us on from professionals to loved ones - not just one or the other.

As the days get darker, colder and isolation naturally occurs - I am feeling inspired to offer my service in a new way to reach a wider clientele with supporting more beings to heal, evolve and feel embodied in their wholeness - a grounded sense of belonging here on earth.

I just brought my rates up with becoming a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor and I am going to bring it back down with COMITTMENT being the key to any sort of success in our life, including our healing.

This is a photo of me from 8 years ago thinking I was embodied and secure in myself. In this present time - I hold myself differently - caring WAY less how other perceive me, focusing on my dreams daily and MUCH more aware of my body's intelligence and guidance from a more resolved, settled place in my overall being with a well of love for this precious life, myself and all my relations.

Anchoring into my Purpose and Receiving Clarity that I am indeed walking in the right direction with my Service.

BITF (A more intimate, wholesome, Regional Burning Man) nourished me up in all the ways. It is the first gathering I've been to in a very long time that I want to return again next year.

It was an honor to land in the camp that resonated with me the most being Mystic Lounge Camp - played all my favourite music and held a safe place for those to integrate, rest, be supported and be welcomed.

My two offerings that I facilitated were 'Ground into Your Wholeness Somatic Embodiment' & 'Naked Ecstatic Dance'.

Ground into your Wholeness Somatic Embodiment was SO powerful and well received to offer these somatic tools that were landing for everyone with such ease and so supportive for being at a festival and navigating life! There is no turning back once you cultivate these tools into your being, body and nervous system. It was super experiential to land the somatic education deep in our bones. I loved how interactive it was where I was in some ways challenged by lots of curiosities and yet the information of clear knowing was pouring out of me in a fiery passionate way.

Afterwards I was able to give a 1-1 session to a being who needed some extra support on the land amongst nature. I always find it profound to witness the transformation in ONE session where there is enough safety and relational trust with just how DEEP we can go.
I watched this being go from super dysregulated, disembodied and disassociated to feeling connected, heard, held and more anchored in their body.

I am celebrating the amount of attunement and capacity I have to hold the big stuff and know that I can bring back my clients to enough safety and relational connection that can have huge ripples of healing.

The Naked Ecstatic Dance was a huge edge. I've done this mainly with women many times but in the light with men too required A LOT of safety and guidelines to keep the container in integrity with the intentions of what we were doing and embodying. Being naked can often connect to sexuality and trauma with realizing the importance of being a Trauma-Informed Facilitator is what is needed for these offerings. I was able to hold space for many prior to this offering about what was coming up for them and meeting them in their resistance. When there is resistance - more safety is needed.

Somehow, someway, I trusted myself and was discerning with the guidelines and warm-up embodiment practices where it unfolded in pure beauty and liberation. Usually when we meet these edges and go beyond our comfort zone with a lot of awareness and intentional holding there can be huge breakthroughs on the other side. That is what I witnessed and celebrate within myself and the many that co-created the journey with me. The ones that felt resistance to come were there embracing their body temples and leaning into those edges so courageously because of the space I could hold for them prior to the event.

I am opening to holding more sacred, intentional, somatic containers for those interested and feel the call to be supported. This could look like holding any of your emotions, past experiences, relational patterns and traumas in a safe, loving and integrative way. This also looks like celebrating your beauty, offering you tools that regulate your nervous system and going deep into your inner world for more insight, clarity and a sense of Grounding in your Wholeness.
