Melisa is BC Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapist of British Columbia and a professional member of Registered Masssage Therapy Association of British Columbia (RMTABC).
Melisa has extensive training for patients with musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries, scar tissue, inflexibility, sports injuries (chronic and acute), as well as various treatments for issues such as MS, bursitis, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, concussions, headaches, TMJ, joint complaints. Melisa creates homecare plans including stretches and exercises for optimal rehabilitation.
Training includes Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofacial Release, Manual Muscle Testing, NeuroKinetic Therapy, Acupuncture, Tradition Chinese Medicine, Sports Medicine, Strength Training, Lyphmatic Drainage, Scar treatments, Pre/post-Natal Massage
