It's pumpkin season!!!

In addition to mindful movement, nourishing your body with healthy, wholesome foods is essential for joint and muscle health. Fueling your body with the right nutrients helps support recovery and overall well-being.

One of my favourite fall breakfast recipes is this delicious Pumpkin Smoothie Bowl!
It's packed with vitamins, fibre, and plant-based protein, making it the perfect post-workout meal. I love having it after my morning strength training session and before I start my workday. It leaves me feeling satisfied and ready to take on the day!

Enjoy!

It's time again for a Mindful Movement Break!
Sometimes the movement you need is simply to breathe.
Today, we’ll explore Box Breathing, a calming technique to help release anxiety and ground you in the present moment.

This 4-minute break is a clip from my Monday evening online Yin Yoga class. If you enjoy this mindful pause, come join an online class on Mondays at 8 pm EST. Drop-ins are always welcome!

Today’s 3-minute standing break comes from Saturday’s online class, where we focused on core stability & balance.

"In the rhythm of stillness, we find our deepest rest."

Join me for this special event next weekend. I have done two events now with Tyler and they were both very well received.

Don't miss out on the opportunity for a relaxing afternoon.

This special 90-minute restorative yoga and handpan event offers you a peaceful space to release the stress of the day and find your centre. With restorative poses, the warmth of hot stones, and the calming melodies of live handpan music, you’ll leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and ready to face the world with a renewed sense of calm.

All props will be provided. No need to bring anything except yourself, and maybe a friend.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28th, 2 - 3:30 PM
The event will be held at Springhill Yoga, 129 Louisa Street in Baden.

Cost: $45
Limited Space

I was just watching the news and saw this report which peaked my interest. I’m not surprised of the results shown for those who are skipping lunch.

“People will skip lunch thinking that you’re going to get that little bit more productivity out of yourself. But really, it sets you up for less productivity throughout the day. Your energy levels go lower, you can’t think so clearly,” says Ter Keurs.

I value my lunchtime break and some things I do on my break includes:
- Eat lunch 😜 teyi g my beat to be mindful
- Work on a puzzle
- Take a walk with my dog
- Gentle yoga or qigong
- Meditate

If you’d like to add movement to your lunchtime break, I’d love to help. On Tuesdays I offer a 30-minute online Lunchtime Mindful Movement class.
