Breaking the Silence 💜

Nova Scotia has the highest rate of self-reported intimate partner violence in Canada, and in 2024 the province declared intimate partner violence an epidemic, this is why we’re showing up, learning, and taking action together.

We have been receiving many requests from clients regarding winter clothing and we want to do our best in ensuring everyone has the privilege to stay warm this winter season.

If you have any new or gently used items you would like to donate, the Pictou County Women's Resource and Sexual Assault Centre will gladly accept them from you.

Just a reminder that Secure - A Financial Literacy Group for Senior Woman will begin on January 22nd 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
