Addy was the winner of our “Guess how many smarties in the jar” contest.

Now we are raffling a basket of gifts along with a gift card from the Manor Gift Shop for $20.00.

The first Annual Northdale Manor Fall Fair was a wonderful success. We had 87 entries with 8 coming from staff members.
Our classes included crochet, knitting, poetry, needlework, painting, crafts, plants, quilting and antiques.
They had to be made by the residents and staff (except for the plants and antiques of course!)
Lots of ribbons were awarded along with several Judges Choice rosettes.
We would like to thank our judges Lois Forget and Linda Fielder for taking on this difficult assignment!

We have an autumn basket of goodies we are selling tickets on until Friday October 10th.
The tickets are $3.00 each or 2 for $5.00.

It was Dress Country Style on Thursday September 11
For the opening day of the New Liskeard Fall Fair.
Residents and Staff got into the fall fair excitement with
Cowboy hats, plaid shirts and bandanas.
A group of residents went to the fair on Thursday to check out
The entertainment and Riverside Place exhibits.
Thanks to Lise and Mike Schenk and Kailey Kennedy for
Chaperoning them.

Our Hawaiian Garden Party ended up indoors but we still had lots of fun playing games
Like pass the wrapped gift and hang man. Lucille was the lucky winner of the passing game in
Which no one guessed the identity of the wrapped object.
We enjoyed fruit kabobs and tropical punch sitting within the decorated room.

We had a wonderful Teddy Bear picnic last week out in the garden.
We played games,discussed our favourite childhood toys and enjoyed punch
And Bear Paws for Our snack.
A big thank you to Barb who loaned us her teddy bears!
