For many years, I ridiculed those who believed that yoga had any real benefit. I see now how wrong I was.
When Anny invited me to try Broga, I didn’t know what to expect and was a little nervous walking in, but I’m incredibly glad I did. It’s much harder than I imagined, an actual workout, but with a focus on movement and balance over brute strength.
What stood out immediately was how beautifully yoga meets each body exactly where it is. It’s not one-stretch-fits-all. It honors individuality, limitations, and progress without comparison or pressure. Anny often says, “if it is available to you,” gently reminding us there’s no performance required, only presence. All you have to do is show up! That approach completely changed how I relate to my body. There’s no room or need for comparison or competition, and as my physical balance improves, so does my mental balance, each one quietly supporting the other.
Yoga is becoming a beautiful part of my daily routines. Anny is an incredible teacher and mentor, and I always hear her voice in my head reminding me: “relax your jaw”… “deep exhale.” Thank you, Anny, for creating such a powerful space for healing. THANK YOU Marv! I appreciate your message, beautifully written as always! See you at men’s yoga!
