We fill prescriptions from physicians, specialists, nurse practitioners, optometrists, and veterinarians. Our pharmacy carries over-the-counter (OTC) products such as vitamins, analgesics, allergy meds, antacids, eye drops, and many more. We also stock incontinence products, mobility aids, feminine hygiene products, personal care products, first aid supplies, etc. At our pharmacy, we offer pharmac

ists assessments for:
prescriptions renewals,
urinary tract infections for women,
shingles,
immunizations (such as hepatitis A & B, pneumonia, shingles, HPV, influenza (when available), Covid-19 (when available),
minor ailments (such as sore colds, athlete's foot, GERD, thrush, etc.),
and basic travel health. Some of these services are covered by NS Pharmacare. These services are available even if you do not fill your prescriptions here. We encourage you to see your doctor or nurse practitioner first but if that is not possible or if you do not have a doctor or nurse practitioner, we can help. Some assessments can be done over the phone; some must be in person. We offer compliance packaging.

What is a sharp? Needles, Lancets and Epi pens count as sharps.
Where should they go? Sharps containers* are available from your local pharmacy. They can be returned to the pharmacy for disposal once they are full. 🏥 Now Accepting Referrals at CBI Health New Minas!

We’re pleased to welcome Dr. Philip Burton, an experienced orthopaedic surgeon whose practice has focused on knee and shoulder pathology and sports medicine. After retiring from his full-time practice in Fredericton, NB, Dr. Burton has relocated to Nova Scotia to continue his consulting work, specializing in the non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal injuries affecting the upper and lower extremities.

Dr. Burton is currently accepting referrals for:
✅ Musculoskeletal conditions of the spine
✅ Upper and lower extremities (excluding hand pathology)
✅ Sports medicine–related injuries

📌 By referral only – If you have a sports-related injury that meets the above criteria, please speak to your family doctor or nurse practitioner to request a referral.
