Mindfulness isn’t
always about
calmness…

When we pause and listen
to the body, we may hear
its signals of safety,
threat, or needs.

Be curious and
notice when the
body tenses or relaxes.

If we override the body’s signals,
the body may fall into
dis-ease. Screams of the body
to listen,
cautions that
something isn’t safe.

Be present to the discomfort, there is wisdom. The body’s SOS.

Your body is working to keep you safe through its signals,
not to to punish you. It is asking to be heard & seen.
Listen.

Sometimes the answer isn’t for us to learn to “keep calm & carry on,” but to “keep present & listen” and notice what is causing the body to not feel safe.

Together, we can create space to be present & listen through therapy, yoga & Ayurveda.

Peace comes from acceptance, not perfection.

💫 You are enough.

There’s a felt difference between inner determination to continue to learn, grow, and develop… and between the tension or heaviness of the pressure to be perfect.

When we practice acceptance of ourselves in each new moment, we move towards relieving ourselves of the burden of perfection.

Without that load, we can find ease, lightness, and a sense of peace that feels like home within yourself.

Sharing an intuitive flow from my heart to yours 🧡

This sped up and chopped reel is share with the intention to inspire & encourage moments for others to practice what feels good to restore alignment and to feel at peace.

For me, practicing yoga has been a way to ground, release, and reconnect.

Sharing my practice with others is a privilege and I am grateful to hold space for others 🙏

In sessions with Julia, we don’t just talk about stress & coping, we practice it.

Trauma & stress leave imprints on the nervous system, which can leave us feeling stuck.

When we process from the body, deep insights open up into the ways we have learned to cope or survive.

In sessions, we listen to the body’s wisdom, thank it for keeping us safe, & lean into what’s sustainable and soft.

Sometimes we may practice grounding, breathwork, movement, and processing.

Sessions with Julia are largely informed through Integrative Somatic Therapy Practice (ISTP) ™, to support the process of releasing trauma & stress.

We safely practice freeing ourselves from held expression to heal & be well.
