THE POWER OF THE HEART: Our heart develops before our existence is often even known. Our hearts are I think, the most powerful organ in our body. Yes our body is a whole system, with the frequency of our heart guiding the way. Did you know the heart even has it's own nervous system? When our heart rate calms we are able to come into a healthy social and emotional state to make healthy decisions and be fully present. So take time, tune in, and feel the power within you. This beautiful organ helps us connect to all other beings and energy beyond our basic perceptions 💕

CHILD'S POSE: During your next practice (even if it's short and sweet) try playing with variations of poses. See where you feel them in your body and the sensations they bring. Notice how your breath changes. You can get super creative and see what feels best for your body in that moment. To me this is the heart of yoga: taking time to go within, explore, learn, grow. This is what life is all about, this is what our souls crave.

BE: Now that I don't have a studio, I feel more and more like I can just BE in the moment. It was difficult to practice this with a little one too last year... and as a very sensitive person, this is what I needed more than ever... time alone to just be. Just be with me. Just be and feel in my heart 💗 Time to nourish myself in this simple way. Our hearts are connected, and by going within to nourish ourselves, we in turn have capacity to do so for others. This is where the heart speaks and we can really listen to our inner wisdom and the wisdom of the universe, God, Higher Self, Guides, Energy.

30 DAYS OF BUILDING RESILIENCE 🌊 Early bird ends today 🌊

These 30 days are designed for you to tune in at your leisure, at any time during the day. Each morning you will find a video or post on our private Facebook group with a tool to support you in building resilience - strengthening your mind, body, and soul. We will share yoga and meditation videos, opportunities for self exploration and release, self care practices, and learn about our nervous system (cranial + vagus nerve too!), how we impact it and it impacts our life physiology and emotional states. We also have a number of special guests also joining us!

Having burned out and experienced adrenal fatigue twice (in my early twenties + again 5 years ago), I have learned just a few tools, which I look forward to sharing with you! I can honestly say I would not have made it through last year with a newborn and the pressure of running a studio, without these tools. This is part of what inspired me to dive into better understanding the nervous system and working with it through yoga, brrathwork, meditation, sound healing, craniosacral + somatoemotional release. For those of you who are Moms, many of these tools can also be shared with children to help set them up with for success.

As we head into this season of change, and unknown territory, it's even more important that we are resilient... enabling us to flow through changes with grace and stay healthy.

Whenever I need to find a little more peace, the water does it for me 🌊 Even if I'm not totally immersed in the ocean or river, the sound of the rushing river or waves washing against the sand brings total serenity. In the Ayurveda course I'm taking with and we learned that what brings us greatest peace in nature is often one of the more predominant elements within us - part of our Prakruti or Dosha combination. (fire-water, ether-air) Fascinating course and soo soo on-point!
