Pesticides ingested on some imported vegetables can affect our genes and be a factor to obesity. To be aware. Ideally home grown, buying local grown vegetables in Canada or whichever country you are living in, and also alternatively ‘organic’ vegetables is the better way to go.

Just be aware of air pollution also being a problem and the world health organisation is now putting incentives in place to try and target that problem, and everyone needs to do their part in helping prevent air pollution because air pollution comes from people too, burn less fires for example. Also vehicles especially from emissions, and factories too.

diabetes is a global pandemic and so is dementia especially which is linked to type 2 diabetes but vascular dementia is also linked to type 2 diabetes. Eating Naturally oily fatty fish twice a week (not fried), and also using virgin olive oil are protective and preventative to the brain and the heart, with an anti-inflammatory effect in the brain for example, especially too since diabetes is a metabolic condition.

Sugars, salts, saturated fats are detrimental to the brain, and they cross the blood brain barrier. Just to be aware.

If you dislike fish, there are fish oil supplements available too.

Always have your eyes screened and checked only by qualified healthcare professionals that are Diabetes trained in Foot care such as podiatrist and nurses who are qualified and don’t be afraid to ask for the proof by the way also make sure there’s sterilising their tools otherwise they are putting you at risk soaking tools in a solution is not sterilising they’re supposed to be using an ultra clave and they should be packaged with indicators showing this past his test. There’s a lot of reprocessing involved and I’m making you aware because unfortunately there are people out there that takes your cuts that is putting in the Public at risk and if you see that don’t be afraid to flag it your health matters and so does everyone else’s. And if you don’t see that you can refuse them that is your right remember that too and don’t be afraid to I know you don’t have to pay anyone for that also always get your eyes checked by an eye doctor make sure they are an eye doctor so you get your eyes screened properly

YOUR DAILY OR WEEKLY HEALTH EDUCATION AND HEALTH PROMOTION IS HERE:

Did you know obesity is now classed as a chronic disease, and is not as simple as eat less move more?

Genetics, the environment play a role.

The mediteranean diet is the healthiest diet, but it can be adjusted to cultural norms.

It consists of fresh vegetalbes, fresh fruits (not dried fruit commonly high in sugar), legumes

Whole grains as staples.

Healthy fats (mostly unsaturated). Extra virgin olive oil is very good for you and beneficial to the brain and the heart.

Fish (not fried or greasy) or plant proteins - more often than red meats.

Leafy green vegetables, home grown or organic is best with no pesticides added that can be harmful to the body and the genes.

Minimal ultra-rocessed and refined foods (known to be harmful to the body, and typically high in sugar and salt despite it not tasting salty).

Different cultural diets can be adjusted with these above ingredients added in.

Think non-saturated fats, non-greasy fatty foods, and no added sugar or salt.

There is enough salt already in food without adding more.

Salt ---> increases blood pressure which leads to -----> Heart disease and strokes.

A daily walk of at least 30 minutes moderate or brisk pace, not slow, is proven effective and beneficial to the heart, brain, and body, and promotes sleep, and decreases stress and helps with weight maintenance:
