With immense sadness, we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of our beloved Ivonny—a beloved daughter, dearest sister, devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend. Ivonny had a personality that could light up any room. Her smile was contagious, her energy boundless, and her heart endlessly kind. She leaves behind her husband, Riko, and their 10-year-old son, Collin, who adored her and shared her zest for life. Her son, a passionate young basketball player with dreams of going pro, now faces life without his biggest supporter by his side.
Ivonny was more than just a mother and wife; she was a shining example of strength and positivity.
Ivonny was a friend, an Oxygen Yoga & Fitness New Westminister member who turned her passion into a career by taking her 200 Hr Yoga & Fusion Teacher Training with us and taught amazing classes at Oxygen NW.
She also had an unmatched love for fitness—whether in her Oxygen yoga sessions, crushing it in F45 classes, or playing sports with friends. Ivonny was a role model, both in the gym and in life, always encouraging others to push themselves and believe in their own strength. Her warmth, laughter, and genuine care for everyone around her made her a friend to many and a source of inspiration to all who knew her.
