Catalyst Kinetics is a Vancouver area, multi-disciplinary health clinic, physiological assessment and sports & fitness training facility. We focus on total body well being, helping clients – from everyday people seeking to overcome obstacles to better health, people recovering from or working through injuries, to amateur and professional athletes training to go beyond their previous milestones – understand themselves better, improve their fitness and gain the tools to move forward in their sports training. The Catalyst team consists of health specialists and trainers in a variety of fields, including medical doctors, chiropractors, naturopaths, registered massage therapists, physiologists, and bike fitters. “Our lives are night and day difference after meeting Dr. Carolyne Nellis. Our baby has seen Dr. Nellis since she was 6 weeks old when she had trouble passing gas and stool. It was like a magic that night. Ever since then our family has been seeing Dr. Nellis every 1-2 weeks (our baby is 10 months old now). We’ve gotten so many valuable advice, information about recent studies and just have been feeling much healthier all around being treated by her. Our baby is sleeping better, passing stool better, we are sleeping better and have more energy.

“I’d like to give a heartfelt thank-you to both Dr. Austin Campeau and Dr. Bailey Jakobs!

I’ve struggled with chronic ankle issues for over 15 years due to various sports injuries. Before starting treatment, my right ankle—my most injured one—had only about one-third of a pain-free range of motion. I had seen many other professionals over the years, including other chiropractors, physiotherapists, and RMTs, but none were able to pinpoint the true cause of the issue. Earlier this year, I went to see Dr. Austin, who diagnosed an orthopaedic condition that no other health care professional had been able to identify. He then referred me to Dr. Bailey Jakobs, who guided me through the healing process and treatment.

Since then, I’ve seen both doctors’ multiple times, and today I can honestly say that both of my ankles have regained a nearly identical, pain-free range of motion—something I’ve been working toward for the last decade and a half. I’m now able to run, lunge, squat, and jump without the pain that had become a normal part of daily life. Every session has been worth it—every penny well spent.
