Dear Patients,

As a part of BC's Restart Plan: Phase 2, RMT’s may now begin a gradual return to practice following the interim guidelines set out by the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. In order to ensure public safety, Sapperton Massage Therapy has made a number of important changes to our usual way of doing business. Until the COVID-19 pandemic is over the following practices will be the new business routine:

I would like to request that all patients wear a mask or face covering before entering the clinic and during the appointment. I will also be wearing one too to prevent any spread of germs.

Patients will be contacted by phone 24 to 48 hours before their scheduled appointment and asked COVID-19 screening questions. Patients will not be seen if they are sick or experiencing flu-like symptoms including fevers, shortness of breath, and/or coughing, or have recently returned to BC from international travel in the past 14 days before their appointment.

Patients are asked to come to their appointments alone. Please wait patiently outside the clinic door or in your car. I will come to greet you when I become available and it is your appointment time. Physical distancing of 2 meters or 6 feet from other people is to be observed at all times, unless in the treatment room.

Upon entering the clinic and at the end of treatment, patients are to wash their hands with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds.

Verbal and written consent will be obtained prior to starting each massage therapy session - treatment will not commence until this is done.

If you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms please reschedule your appointment, either online through the Sapperton Massage Therapy website or by phone at 778-881-4730. Dear Patients,

The BC government has listed the return to work for Phase 2 businesses starting May 19th, 2020 as a part of BC's Restart Plan. However, the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia is in the process of having draft protocols that align with public health and safety guidelines reviewed by BC's Provincial Health Officer. Until these protocols have been approved we will not proceed with any massage therapy appointments for now. I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause at this time. As this will likely be a week-to-week process, you may receive an appointment cancellation notification via email only a few days prior to your expected appointment. Please check your emails for any changes to your appointments that might occur.

Parking and Skytrain Access

Sapperton Massage Therapy is located inside the Harmony Laser and Skincare Clinic. Cecilia is the only registered massage therapist practicing at this site. There is free client parking available just outside the clinic.

If arriving by transit, Sapperton Massage Therapy is only a 10 minute walk from Sapperton Skytrain Station. From the station, head west on Keary Street for 210 meters (up the hill and past Royal Columbian Hospital), then turn right and walk along E. Columbia Street for 500 meters. The clinic is in the small business complex on the right next to Ikoi Sushi restaurant and Royal City Physio.
