Orthotics Prosthetics Canada has established this national day of recognition to:
➡ Highlight and promote the professions of Certified Orthotists and Prosthetists and Registered Orthotic and Prosthetic Technicians.
➡ To educate about the work they do by spotlighting individuals who have gained and regained function and mobility with the help of our practitioners.
➡ To build stronger, more collaborative partnerships as a support network for the Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) profession and our patients and clients.

That’s a wrap for the OPC 2024 National conference in Fredericton, New Brunswick! It’s always a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, learn and share knowledge and experience…all in a beautiful city. Thank you to Fredericton and to all the people who helped make this conference a success! It’s a shame we couldn’t start a new tradition with the awarding of the Jeff Newell Memorial Cup for the winners of our biennial softball game due to weather, but dodgeball proved to be a solid ‘plan b’.
