Letting someone know how they make you feel—safe, seen, valued, understood—can stay with them far longer than you might realize.

Those words often become something they carry with them on difficult days, a quiet reminder that they matter. Meaningful affirmations don’t just uplift others, they deepen connection, build trust, and support emotional well-being on both sides.

Being intentional with your words can have a lasting impact. You never know who might need to hear that they make the world feel a little lighter ☀️🌻

✨Welcome to Our Team: Claire Packer, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) Intern✨

Now Accepting New Clients & Offering Low-Cost Therapy!

Claire's approach is collaborative and compassionate. She draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you understand the patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that might be keeping you stuck. Together, you'll build practical coping skills while deepening your self-awareness because lasting change comes from both.

Claire believes therapy works best when you feel genuinely safe and heard. Her goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment, and work toward the kind of meaningful, lasting change that actually sticks.

She recognizes that reaching out for support can feel like a big and vulnerable step, and her goal is to make the process as comfortable as possible.

🌿 Rest is not a pause in your healing, it’s part of the work.

In a world that praises constant productivity, it’s easy to feel like you should always be “doing more” to move forward. But healing doesn’t follow a straight line, and progress doesn’t always look like action.

Sometimes progress looks like:
• Taking a deep breath
• Allowing yourself to slow down
• Setting boundaries
• Giving your mind and body the space to recover

Rest is where your nervous system resets, your mind processes, and your strength quietly rebuilds. You are not falling behind—you are restoring.

Your healing is allowed to be gentle. 🌱

Postpartum recovery isn’t only physical. It’s emotional too. 🤍

While so much attention is given to physical healing after birth, a mother’s mental health during the postpartum period is just as important. Adjusting to new routines, sleep changes, identity shifts, and the demands of caring for a newborn can feel overwhelming.

Some mothers may experience symptoms such as:
• persistent sadness or frequent crying
• feeling overwhelmed or anxious
• irritability or mood swings
• difficulty sleeping even when the baby is sleeping
• feeling disconnected from yourself or your baby
• loss of interest in things you once enjoyed

You don’t have to navigate it alone. Support, understanding, and space to talk can make a meaningful difference during this transition.

If you’re struggling, reaching out is a strong and important step.

Start your day with a little self-love and positivity ✨💛
Mental health affirmations are powerful reminders that your thoughts shape your day. Repeating kind, encouraging statements to yourself can:

💭 Shift negative thinking into positive action
🌱 Boost your mood and resilience
💪 Strengthen self-confidence and self-worth
☀️ Turn around a tough day, one thought at a time

Even a few minutes of daily affirmations can make a big difference. Speak to yourself with kindness, you deserve it 💛💫
