Welcome to the team 👋

We’re pleased to welcome Hilland Chan, Registered Physiotherapist, to Main Street Wellness.

Hilland is a registered physiotherapist in Ontario and Hong Kong with over 20 years of clinical experience. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and a Master of Science in Health Care from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Hilland has experience providing physiotherapy care to children with diverse developmental and physical needs, as well as older adults. He has also previously served as a clinical educator in paediatric physiotherapy in Hong Kong. In addition, Hilland completed a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion at Centennial College and is a Certified Personal Trainer in Ontario.

His approach emphasizes assessment-guided care, incorporating hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, and patient education to support safe movement and daily function.

A Beer Kind of Day

Sometimes, even the best days can turn sour. Today was one of those days.

Received a tough review at the clinic that wasn't even our patient.
Stressed about launching new services
Felt overwhelmed and uncertain

But then I remembered: every setback is an opportunity to reset and refocus.

So, I'm taking a deep breath, pouring myself a cold one, and reminding myself why I started this journey in the first place.

Wing Kei Cheng is a compassionate and experienced healthcare professional with over 28 years of clinical expertise in physiotherapy and acupuncture, spanning hospitals, private clinics, and community settings in Hong Kong and Canada.

Wing’s extensive experience began in 1994 in Hong Kong, where he worked as a Registered Physiotherapist and Clinical Educator at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, supervising physiotherapy students.

In 2017, he relocated to Canada, completing the Ontario Internationally Educated Physical Therapy Bridging Program at the University of Toronto (2019) and earning the Clinical Excellence Award.

Wing’s journey as a cancer survivor has deepened his understanding of the importance of well-being and recovery. He empathetically supports patients navigating similar challenges.
