A bear can climb a tree, but can he survive underwater for long stretches of time, navigate rapid currents or lay eggs?

Societal recognition of neurodiversity matters. Internalized ablism is the result of someone being told in variations, through different people, and different experiences, that they aren't "good enough", "smart enough", "too sensitive", or "aren't trying hard enough", when in reality the system is built for a specific set of individual strengths, capabilities, and needs.
