Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to inform you that our National Canadian Film Day resident movie screening scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 15 at 12:00 PM has been cancelled.

However, residents and their families are still warmly invited to take part in the celebration! You can join virtually by accessing the previously shared streaming link, or attend in person at the Newmarket Seniors’ Meeting Place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you’ll still celebrate Canadian Film Day with us in one of these ways! 🎬🍁

As part of the Live To The Fullest Festival, from April 13 to 19, Cogir residences across Canada will come alive during a week dedicated to physical activity and the joy of movement.
Zumba Gold, yoga, disco or line dancing, stretching, and much more will be offered to promote coordination, vitality, and a positive mindset.🧘
Everyone will be able to choose the activities that suit them best and fully enjoy a wonderful week in motion - because what truly matters is staying active!

Our St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Venvi Alexander Muir Retirement Residence was filled with toe-tapping tunes by Anthony Clayton, a special visit from our wonderful volunteer Bruce, and plenty of festive cheer, complete with green punch and delicious treats. 🍀✨

We love trying new things, and this week, creativity was flowing!

Our residents had the wonderful opportunity to explore the art of resin, a brand-new activity for many of us. With the patient guidance and expertise of Carmen, a talented local artist from Newmarket, everyone learned new techniques and created truly beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces.

It was an inspiring day filled with creativity, laughter, and pride in what we accomplished together. We can’t wait to try it again! 💛
