Axel is so coordinated today! And super cool in his backwards lion hat 🦁
Also, we are FINALLY good to put our stuff in the backyard! So no more driveway playground and lots more parking room!

Today is the 7th and last time I will be able to witness this tree go from bare, to buds, to young blossoms...

I am at the old house doing some final cleaning and handing the keys back to our landlord after raising our kids here for 6 years. As annoying as it was to clean the doodles and graffiti marks off the walls and floors, it was also sad, knowing that it was done over the last 6 years of them growing up here ❤️

We are so so sad we had to leave this house, but have a lot of memories too, including the births of both Declan and Axel here! Board game nights, birthday parties, movie nights, coffee visits, random hangouts, cooking and baking with the kids, teaching them new things, watching them become independent and go off in the neighborhood with friends... lots of things have happened in this house and we will cherish the memories.

As a complete family with Axel being our last baby, we start anew in Barrie, in a brand new home and a quiet and tight knit neighborhood with lots of opportunities to create new memories ahead of us!

We will just dearly miss Newmarket, our school community and our neighborhood 😢

Pain. Fatigue. Foggy brain.

My body feels broken and all I did was take care of my 2 year old on my own for the day, make dinner (Drunken Noodles ...omg OBSESSED) and direct my older boys to do their chores... 😮‍💨

Thank God "Mema Daycare" is back tomorrow, I really am not able to handle life some days!

I wish I could stand longer, hold a knife or a spatula longer, think faster....I miss cooking! As beautiful as tonight's dinner turned out, it was so stressful making it with pain and inability to focus 😭

I love my early birthday gift! My 6 Little Loves wrapped around a gift from my biggest Love! Thanks Hubby for sharing an addiction to board games with me (and the kids)! I love playing together (usually haha) and hope we do for the rest of our days!

Our q***r, trans and gender-diverse students and workers deserve to know there are more of us who will not tolerate hate. We will not stand for this!

The kids, Brian and Mema went off to the beach, but I stayed behind with a sick baby Axel.

I took advantage of the little bit of energy I have while he naps to made Carrot Cake muffins and Chocolate Bliss Brownies.

Boy does it smell good in here!

Since there was extra crushed pineapple...why not make a Pina Colada! Omg... so refreshing!

All three items are of course thanks to Epicure 😉

And now... I can feel the fatigue setting in... so I shall relax with my healthier-for-you fancy drink and cross my fingers and toes that Axel gives me a bitttt more time!

THIS IS ONE. THE LAST ONE. MY LAST BABY TO TURN ONE.

We will never again have a baby of our own in this home and it makes me so sad. I have loved every minute- joyful or tearful- and miss them already.

However! I cannot WAIT to watch Axel grow and how the bond between all 6 boys will change now that we won't have babies! This 1 year marker is a celebration for our whole family! As sad as I am that one phase of our life is done, it gives me butterflies to think about what's to come!

Cheers to you- my Axel Lenny Loo! You are the happiest, easiest, most accommodating baby ... able to adapt to whatever is happening and to communicate your feelings and needs to us to help you stay in your happy go lucky state through it all!

My longer hair was driving me NUTS! So... I decided to get a new 'do before my birthday weekend away 👌!

I still need to dye it and style it my normal and natural wavy (faster than blowdry and straighten fo sho...just what a tired mama needs!)

Axel is still unsure... but he'll get over it!

Spending Declan's naptime wrapping prezzies! Brian enjoys it and is much better than me... so I get him to do most! 😄 🤣 😂 We have a whole number system on them so we know what is wrapped and for who without their names on them...in case they sneak to peek!! Then Christmas eve I'll write their names on them for Christmas day!
