A fun night out at our staff appreciation shindig! A yummy pizza bar, an energetic getting to know you game, and a co****le competition that brought out our inner athletes. No uniforms tonight, and may we say, you all clean up very nicely! Beautiful inside and out 😍 It was heart warming to see the friendships you’ve all built with each other, Elgin Falls Retirement Community is extremely lucky to have you on our team! A BIG thank you to all the staff who remained working, ensuring that all our residents were supported ❣️❣️

To all our dedicated staff who have big hearts, we THANK YOU for coming in to serve others this thanksgiving weekend 🫶!!!
With lots of families and guests also joining us for an incredible meal, we know you’re all working very hard. We appreciate each of you coming in to ensure our residents gather together to enjoy a delicious turkey dinner at Elgin Falls Retirement Community. We couldn’t and wouldn’t be the wonderful place we are, without each of you!! 🙏❣️

Tell us more!!

Elgin Falls Retirement Community was excited to educate and host this group of wonderful people who are interested in senior living. They were able to enjoy a lively autumn harvest table experience together. Our chef and his amazing team served hearty fall soups and sandwiches, pumpkin tarts, and of course, local Niagara fall wines. All while candidly discussing the challenges that come with getting a little bit older, and what comes next. Good laughs and stories shared .

Making a decision to leave your home is never an easy one. It’s extremely emotional, as it should be. But the one thing the group all agreed on, and most of our residents would also agree on is that making the decision to move themselves, while they can, and before they have no choice is something they all want control of.

Thanks to all our hardworking staff who helped get ready for and put together a wonderful afternoon event for this group, and for all our residents as well! You’re awesome!!! 🫶

We savored these delightful pumpkin spice lattes, beautifully handcrafted by Sierra and Taylor. Paired with irresistible pumpkin biscotti's, we found a perfect remedy for a rainy day, filling us with warmth and comfort. Yummmmm……🎃☕️🍂

Join us every Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. for our virtual caregiver support group. Support, resources and companionship of other caregivers — from the comfort of your preferred space.
