Happy ! 🌎

Some of the best things you can do for your health doesn’t always happen in a gym or clinic.

Fresh air, natural light, and time outside can help clear your mind, lower stress, and reset your energy. It doesn’t have to be anything big - just getting outside for a walk or spending a bit of time in nature can make a real difference. 🌿

Today is a good day to step outside and take advantage of the beauty in our own backyards!

Sometimes the biggest reset isn’t physical - it’s mental. 🧠

Our 43–48°F cold plunge tubs are designed to get your body’s attention, but what keeps people coming back is how it makes them feel afterwards.

Cold exposure can help trigger the release of endorphins and dopamine, giving your mood a natural lift. It also plays a role in regulating stress by helping your body manage cortisol levels more effectively. Many people notice they feel clearer, calmer, and more focused after just a few sessions.

There are physical benefits too - like reduced inflammation and faster recovery - but for a lot of our clients, it’s the mental reset that stands out.

To book a session, visit nextniagarahealth.com or call the clinic at (905) 353-1099.

Posterior Shoulder Impingement isn’t just a tissue problem. It’s often a motor control and load-management issue.

⤴️ This client is receiving neurofunctional acupuncture to reduce neural irritation, improve muscle coordination, and restore efficient shoulder mechanics where demand is highest.

Common symptoms of Posterior Shoulder Impingement include:

▫️ Deep, aching pain in the back of the shoulder

▫️ Pain during overhead or throwing movements

▫️ Loss of shoulder range of motion

▫️ Clicking, catching, or weakness with load

▫️ Symptoms that worsen with training or repetitive use

Posterior Shoulder Impingement commonly affect overhead athletes (such as throwers, swimmers, CrossFit®, volleyball and tennis athletes), strength athletes with high pressing volume, individuals with poor scapular control or shoulder stability, anyone training hard without adequate recovery, and individuals with post-injury or postural compensation patterns.

Dry cupping is a non-invasive therapeutic modality that utilizes suction to create negative pressure over targeted areas of the body. 🎯 This process promotes localized circulation, supports the reduction of inflammation, and facilitates myofascial release, with the overall goal of alleviating pain and muscular tension.

Cupping is commonly applied to regions such as the back, shoulders, neck, and lower extremities.

Static cupping involves the placement of cups on specific areas for a predetermined duration to address localized discomfort, tension, and stagnation. In contrast, dynamic cupping incorporates the controlled movement of suctioned cups across the skin, producing a massage-like effect that targets broader myofascial structures, enhances circulation, and supports tissue mobility.

Cupping therapy may result in mild, temporary discoloration or redness of the skin following treatment. đź”´

Some of the best introductions to our clinic come through word of mouth. đź’¬ When people have a great experience, they often share it with friends, family, and coworkers.

That’s exactly how this client found us. After hearing about us from a coworker, they decided to give our team a try - and shared this with us after months of treatment:

➡️ “It’s been a blessing for me to find out from my coworker about NEXT, where my expectations have been exceeded on a regular basis, time after time for over half a year now.
Abhi has been helping with my ever changing needs since day one, while giving me his personal attention and physiotherapy I could only dream of. He’s been willing to adapt his treatment choice on the fly depending on my immediate concerns.

Abhi has a great sense of humour and charming personality. He’s an extremely sharp and knowledgeable pro with tons of education and international experience. I found him very caring and passionate when it comes to helping his patients to succeed.

For me, NEXT has become an ultimate therapy place where its amazing staff and state-of-the-art equipment has truly brought their physiotherapy to the next level.

Kudos to the NEXT team! You are awesome!”

Our aquatherapy pools offer a unique way to support recovery, movement, and overall wellness.

In our clinic, we have two aquatherapy pools equipped with underwater treadmills. The buoyancy of water reduces pressure on joints while providing natural resistance, creating a supportive environment for exercise and rehabilitation.

can help with a range of needs, including balance challenges, post-injury or post-surgical recovery, muscle strengthening, and staying active during pregnancy. The water allows for comfortable movement while still building strength and endurance.

For many people, it’s a safe and effective way to rebuild confidence in movement while working toward their recovery goals. 💪 🌊

March is , a time to better understand the impact brain injuries can have on daily life.

A concussion is often called an “invisible injury.” Even when scans appear normal, people may still experience symptoms like headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating.

In a recent article for the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce, our own Dr. Osama Mohammad explains how concussions can affect multiple systems in the body, including the neck, vision, balance, and nervous system.

Recovery is not always as simple as rest. Proper assessment and guided rehabilitation can help people safely return to work, school, exercise, and everyday routines.
