Election Meeting
December 3, 2023, 12:00 p.m. to 12:10 p.m.
!ELECTIONS!
Elections for the offices of President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and four (4) Executive Board Members for the administration of Local #298 for 2024-2025 will be held on December 3, 2023 at 12:00 noon. Location to be at: Niagara Rock Academy 3820 Main Street Niagara Falls (Chippawa), On. Masks are optional.
Nominations must be done from the floor. If a member in good standing wishes to run for an office but cannot attend. They may do so by appointing another member in good standing who should bring their written notice of intention to stand for said office, clearly indicating the office that they are standing for. The appointed nominator should then submit your written notice to the returning officer on the floor of the election.
Please plan to attend. The Election will begin promptly at 12:00 noon at 12:10 nomination will be closed.

Now accepting applications for the
2024 Cultural Development Fund

The Niagara Falls Cultural Development Fund (NFCDF) was established in 2016 to provide financial support to grassroots cultural initiatives across Niagara Falls. Since 2016, over $425,000 has been invested in the arts & culture community via the NFCDF, with over 80 groups and organizations benefiting.

The NFCDF is currently accepting applications for 2024, reviewing proposals from a wide variety of cultural initiatives, including:
Exhibitions & events
Walking tours
Workshops
Panel discussions & lectures
Art installations
Community celebrations
Interactive experiences & performances
Submitting an application:

Fill out the application form before the Wednesday, December 6 deadline.
Attend the virtual information session on Wednesday, November 8, at 6 p.m.
Successful applicants will be announced in March 2024 (projects must occur between March 2024 and February 2024).
The NFCDF aims to support innovative and inspired cultural programming that is Niagara Falls-based, inclusive, collaborative and accountable.
