My name is Elizabeth Den Hollander and I am a registered massage therapist (RMT) registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. In April 2014 I graduated with honors from Georgian College where in my second year I received 2 scholarships that funded my 10 day medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic in May of 2013. I was proactive during my 3 years at Georgian College, I was i
nvolved with the student advisory council helping with student focused events and I became a tutor for anatomy, pathology and physiology courses. The Georgian College massage therapy program offered 4 semesters of the 6 semester program in clinic and outreach programs where we gained experience in sporting injures, pregnancy, complex care, palliative care, fibromyalgia and arthritis. I am always looking to improve and gain more experience, so I recently became ART (active release technique) certified to help better myself as a manual therapist. I am currently working at two clinics, I'm starting my own practice as well as working at a physiotherapy clinic to have a more inter-professional work environment.
