Alban Eilir is one of two brief moments of balance between light and dark in the wheel of the year... Actually, to dig deeper into the meaning of ''balance'', two oposite versions of the same moment happening simultaneously in the Northern and Southern hemisphere. One where Light will be growing and one where Dark will be equally growing from now on depending on where you are. Balance exists on a much deeper level than we are typically aware. The ephemeral nature of this special time reminds us that ''Balance'' is part of a greater cycle. From our human persperctive, an active, intentional and never-ending process requiring constant resilience and adaptiveness to our inner-selves and the outer world.
