MEET VICTORIA GOBA

Meet one of our newest team members and Office Administrator, Victoria Goba!

Victoria holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Computer Science from Wilfrid Laurier University. Her academic background reflects a strong interest in the intersection of science, technology, and healthcare, including an undergraduate thesis exploring how artificial intelligence can be integrated into surgical and operating room environments 🤖

A lifelong athlete and certified sports superfan, Victoria grew up playing soccer and can almost always be found with a game on (any sport, any team). While at Laurier, she also volunteered with Make-A-Wish Canada, helping raise funds and give back to the healthcare community in a meaningful way 💙✨

New to the Niagara region, Victoria is excited to explore the area and become part of the amazing community at Great North Physiotherapy. Outside the clinic, she loves live concerts, discovering new spots, and carefully reviewing menus…only to confidently order her go-to every time: a plain cheeseburger 🍔

MEET BREANNA SMITH

Breanna brings energy, experience, and a strong foundation in movement and rehab to the Great North Physiotherapy team.

A graduate of Brock University with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology (BKin), Breanna has built her background across rehab, injury care, and patient experience, always with a people-first mindset. 🫶

She currently serves as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Southern Tier Admirals U18 AAA hockey team, supporting athletes through injury assessment, treatment, and return-to-play. Her experience also includes working as an Exercise Therapist and Educator, coaching clients through cardiac rehab, general health programs, fitness classes, and injury-prevention initiatives across Niagara. 💪🏆

Outside the clinic, Breanna is a lifelong athlete with a competitive soccer background, including time playing in Portugal. She thrives in team environments, values meaningful connection, and loves being part of something bigger than herself. ⚽

And when she’s not in the clinic or at the rink? You’ll likely find her talking Leafs hockey (the highs and heartbreaks) or happily chatting about Taylor Swift! 🎶💙

Breanna is one of the newest members of our team, and we're ready to take on 2026 with her on deck. Let's get it!

✨ 2025 AT GREAT NORTH PHYSIOTHERAPY ✨

2025 was a year that shaped us - full of growth, challenge, connection, and heart.

This year, we:

- Grew into a team of 12
- Welcomed three new physiotherapists
- Opened a satellite location in .ca in St. Catharines

🫶🏻 Showing Up

We showed up in 2025, through direct partnerships and by supporting our clients and athletes as they backed causes they believe in.

We were proud to stand behind , , and Ronald McDonald House Charities ( Open), Branch 124, .davidsfirefighters2, Mack for McMaster, and more, all while continuing to sponsor athletes and teams from across the Niagara Region.

🏆 Sport & Big Moments

We witnessed another championship, continued to cheer on the .meteors and celebrate our athlete Finn Moffett (who was recently drafted to the QMJHL), to hearing about the competitions our and dominated, time with the , working the 2025 Summer Games, and heading to Europe with the NextGen Ski Cross team - these are moments we won’t forget.

🙌 Life at GNP

We volunteered, coached, reffed, time-kept, and played in leagues. We watched our clients return to sport, reach goals, and thrive. We celebrated birthdays, graduations, and next steps. We made space and supported each other through loss. We even bought a new fridge for the Harry Potter closet (iykyk). All of these victories defined our year.

So as we close the door on 2025, we want to thank our clients, partners, teammates, and community for being part of our story. Our team shows up everyday, bringing the heart, knowledge and care Niagara deserves.
