As CHEER Week comes to a close — and as we near the end of 2025 — we want to pause and say thank you. 💚

This year has asked a lot of our rural health system, and through moments of joy and moments of real pressure, NDMH staff, physicians, partners, and volunteers continued to show up for our patients and our community — with compassion, professionalism, and heart — no matter the weather, no matter the challenge.

CHEER Week reminded us how powerful connection can be: shared meals and laughter, gratitude walls, Secret Santa moments, and time to simply pause together. These moments matter, and they reflect our commitment to caring for those who care for others.

While 2025 has not been without challenge, we are moving forward together. CARE2030: Flourishing Together is our shared path forward — focused on strengthening our people, expanding local care, and working as a connected system, grounded in compassion, accountability, respect, and equity.

As we head into the weekend and the holiday season, we wish everyone moments of rest, warmth, and meaningful connection — knowing how deeply appreciated our healthcare teams are and the difference they make every single day.

What a week of CHEER it has been!

It’s the final day of CHEER Week and we are finishing off woth some sweet treats!

On the agenda today … theres a Candy and Popcorn Bar in the caf, Secret Santas are being shared, and voting for the winner of the Door Decorating - the LTC residents sure have a hard job this morning choosing the winner - all the decorated doors have brought much cheer and delight throughout the week ! The door decorating winner to be revealed soon …
