Celebrating Leadership & Continued Strong Rural Voice đź’š
We are incredibly proud to share that Madison Boudreau, RN — Director of Quality, Patient Relations & Special Projects at Nipigon District Memorial Hospital — has recently been elected to the College of Nurses of Ontario Council representing Northwestern Ontario and appointed to the Discipline and Fitness to Practise Committee.
As a proud rural and local healthcare leader, this is an incredible professional achievement and a reflection of Madison’s leadership, integrity, compassion, and commitment to quality care, patient safety, and the nursing profession.
Madison’s election also helps ensure rural and Northern healthcare perspectives continue to have a voice within important provincial conversations shaping healthcare across Ontario.
As a small rural healthcare organization, we deeply value opportunities that support leadership growth, shared learning, and meaningful contribution beyond our local communities. Experiences like this not only support individual professional development, but also strengthen the knowledge, perspective, and leadership brought back into our organization and healthcare system overall.
Madison also begins this journey with the guidance and mentorship of NDMH Nurse Practitioner Grace Fox, whose full 10-year term of service with the College of Nurses of Ontario is soon coming to a close — reflecting the continued strength and contribution of rural healthcare leadership within our communities.
Beyond the title and achievement, we are proud to celebrate Madison as a leader, colleague, mother, and advocate who continues to bring both heart and dedication to the work she does every day.
Congratulations Madison đź’š We are proud of you and grateful for all you continue to contribute both locally and now provincially!
