Every time you walk, climb stairs, or stand on your tiptoes, the Soleus muscle in your calves is activated. When it moves, it pushes blood from your legs back upward to your heart. This is why it’s known as our “second heart”.

Our legs are far from the heart, so they need help circulating the blood🩸

Why is this so important?

- Improved circulation
- Prevents blood clots and venous stasis
- Reduces leg swelling
- Protects your cardiovascular health

So, don’t forget to give it movement! Like I always say to people “movement is medicine”

If you spend many hours sitting or standing:
- Walk for a few minutes
- Lift your heels repeatedly
- Flex your ankles
- Do ankle circles

Just a heads up to all our clients that our Camrose location is now closed.

It sucks cause I (Shelbie) was busy in Camrose and love the community, and the people there. Not to mention that office space couldn’t be more perfect, and the owner/managers Blain and Don are the best people to do business with (if you need an office in Camrose call them, seriously).

Everything was perfect but we just couldn’t find massage therapist(s) to work down there, and with the client demand there and at our main location, (and the upkeep of both offices), I’ve spread myself too thin.

Thank you so much to all of you for the support in Camrose (and in Leduc/Nisku).

All of our wonderful Camrose people - you should come see us on Airport Road when you do a Costco/Edm trip, go to the EIA mall or airport, or just want a nice little country drive up Hwy 21 and west on Airport Road! Oh and there’s a Montana’s Cookhouse next door … just sayin 😋
