Open Health Niverville had a truly exciting opportunity today to showcase our clinic and the great work they are doing to the Minister of Health Uzoma Asagwara, alongside representatives from Southern Health!

We look forward to continuing to collaborate with the Province of Manitoba and with Southern Health in finding ways to increase community-based care at our clinic.

Open Health Niverville is excited to welcome Dr. Hemali Gupta to our clinic, who will be starting on August 25th, 2025.

Dr. Hemali Gupta is a compassionate family physician who completed her family medicine training at the University of Manitoba, where she developed a strong foundation in patient-centred, collaborative care. She has made her home here in Manitoba after practicing in Ireland for four years. With over 10 years of clinical experience in India and Ireland, she brings a global perspective to her care while remaining deeply committed to local community.

Dr. Gupta welcomes patients across all ages, with her special interests including chronic disease management, women’s health, and pediatrics. She is also skilled in providing joint injections for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

Dr. Gupta believes in building long-term, trusting relationships with her patients, valuing preventative medicine and working with each individual to create a personalized care plan.

Grateful to be part of the welcoming and vibrant Manitoba community, Dr. Gupta is excited to give back and grow with the people she serves. Outside of medicine, she is a proud mother of two who enjoys spending time with her family, biking, travelling, and exploring the great Canadian outdoors.

The Same Day Saturday Schedule for July to September is now available!

Open Health Niverville has extended hours on Saturdays for same-day appointments, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Same-day appointments are available to both patients and non-patients of the clinic, by appointment only, on a limited basis, and based on provider availability. Availability may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.

You can see a same-day provider for things like minor illnesses, minor injuries, rashes, infections, suture removal, prescriptions, vaccinations, mental health, or preventative care.

Availability for same-day appointments opens at 9:00 AM the day of. Please be aware that appointments fill up quickly, and Open Health Niverville may not be able to provide you with a same-day appointment.
