❄️ Shoveling Snow today? Protect Your Back! ❄️

Winter is beautiful (okay maybe not today...)—but shoveling snow can be tough on your body! Improper technique can lead to strains in your back, shoulders, and knees.

Here are a few tips to stay safe:
✅ Warm up first – Stretch your back, shoulders, and legs before you start.
✅ Use proper form – Keep your back straight, bend your knees, and lift with your legs, not your back.
✅ Pace yourself – Take breaks, and don’t overexert.
✅ Switch sides – Shovel evenly to avoid twisting one side too much.
✅ Choose the right shovel – Lightweight and ergonomic shovels make a big difference.

Experiencing pain or stiffness after shovelling? Our physiotherapy team can help you recover and prevent injury next time! 💪

📅 Book your assessment today and stay strong this winter.

Your best posture isn’t one you hold all day — it’s your next posture.

Posture isn’t about standing tall or sitting straight forever. It’s about movement. Our bodies are designed to move, shift, and adapt. When we stay in one position for too long — even what we think is “good posture” — muscles get tight, joints get stiff, and discomfort starts to creep in.

So, take this as your gentle reminder to change it up.
✅ Roll your shoulders.
✅ Stand and stretch.
✅ Adjust your sitting position.
✅ Take that quick walk to refill your coffee.

Because your best posture? It’s the next one you move into.
