Are you struggling with the executive function part of adhd?

I created a quick read, mom approved, teenager approved easy guide based on real helpful strategies I have given my clients that have been recently diagnosed and struggling with lifestyle support. I’ve had nutrition calls that have turned into how to get things done with executive dysfunction, and avoid burnout. Without understanding what it is or how to live with it, the stress compounds and affects many body systems. Which leads to working with me for deeper issues. So hopefully this helps before that 🙏🏻

If you’re needing comprehensive support, I would recommend working one on one with an ADHD coach.

Bring this guide to your next doctor’s appointment, and use alongside your treatment plan from your physician 💕

If it resonates, let me know 🙏🏻

Happy New Year everyone!🥹💕

Lately, Ive been posting a lot of “salesy” content. I hate it but let me tell you why. The real truth behind this is that the last ten years have been rough. Like really, really hard. I listened to a podcast last night that said, people like you don’t get lucky. So you have to work really, really hard. And if anything pierced my soul it was those words lol. You can be delusional and manifest (and I do), but the reality is, it takes real work and real effort to build and have something you can be proud of. Running a business means you’re receiving money in exchange for giving value. And lately I’ve been giving a ton of value and getting little back. (My fault)

And this is the hardest part- I don’t have a support system. As a single parent - I have incredibly limited resources. And yet I have given until I have had nothing left. I was raised to believe that giving and being a good person will always be a good thing. And I still believe that. But man giving decades of your time and your energy with little returned means that something inside of ME has to change.

Moving to Niverville/Winnipeg was the best thing I could have done for my daughters. And the worst thing I could have done for myself. I don’t fit here. I’m not supported here, and well, I really just don’t like it. I miss my family. But I’ve been in enough tough spots to know that these feelings and situations don’t last forever. And my forever-ish home is being dreamt bit by bit every day somewhere that aligns 💕 ✨You’ll see me pop up in a forest somewhere in the next ten years, probably with another salmon rice bowl. 🤪

So yes, while it might rub people the wrong way that I’m actually asking to be compensated for my skills and experience more often, it took me a long time to be able to do that. Plus I’m 40 now, so we’re kind of allowed to just say anything now 🙂‍↔️

Hey! Thanks for reading! I love New Years, and against all new social norms, I will always be a resolutions girl. So here’s to realizing your worth, today and always 🥂✨💕

Do you do NY resolutions?

Happy New Year's Eve! I'm making my 2026 vision board today!

I have also created a new group coaching plan called the Metabolic Wellness Reset Plan for women struggling with weight resistance, and are tired of the calories in/calories out that doesn't work for people with hormonal or metabolic issues. (PCOS, Perimenopause, Menopause, Insulin Resistance etc.)

For 12 weeks, you get an action plan focus, a new workout playlist you can do from home, and nutrition strategy and structure. You're going to learn why your body is resisting fat loss, the things you've been doing that might be hindering or blocking progress, and how to get back to balance.

Start: January 4
Last Session: March 22

We meet every Sunday at 7:30pm (Central standard time) on Google Meet! The hardest part, is showing up for yourself

We start January 4! 💕

Almost every woman I know that has a metabolic issue and can’t lose weight, are doing HIIT and lots of cardio, with a lot of calorie restrictions. This does not work for you. It might for everyone else- but not you. Not right now.

Keeping stress down is number one. Especially with ANS dysfunction disorders. No consistent spikes in heart rate.

Ditch the excessive cardio. Go for a walk- keep it under your sweet spot heart rate. And most importantly, add some strength training!!!

I’m not a huge fan of food restrictions. We’re an evolving species, our bodies can handle a lot of food. Sometimes the balance is off though, and we can get all kinds of wild symptoms.

Gut health is so important and often overlooked.

If you’re struggling, all the links are in my bio to work together.

Not a doctor and this is not medical advice.

Winnipeg! I'm excited to see clients in person again!

If we haven't met before, you can head over to my website. I've provided some great Q+A here as well. Looking forward to connecting.

Q1. What is Holistic or Functional Nutritionist?

A Holistic Nutritionist, uses evidence-based, functional approach to identify patterns in your health that traditional models sometimes can overlook. Holistic Nutritionists are not just nutritionists, they also look at stress, hormones, digestion, and metabolism as an interconnected system. helping your body return to balance naturally and sustainably. The focus is on understanding why symptoms occur, not just what they are.

Q2. What’s the difference between a Dietitian and a Nutritionist?

Dietitians are part of the medical system. They focus on treating diagnosed diseases using therapeutic diets and work under provincial healthcare regulations. They are a fantastic resource to add to your wellness team.

I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist Clinical Practitioner, trained through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, with additional designation as a Registered Nutritional Therapist. My work is functional and integrative. I focus on how the body’s systems (digestion, hormones, metabolism, and stress response) work together.

Q3. What is your approach?

I have ten years experience; my work started in pediatric holistic nutrition, and now focus primarily on supporting women's hormone, digestive and metabolic health. (PMS, PMDD, PCOS, Perimenopause, Menopause, Thyroid disorders, Insulin Resistance, SIBO, IBS, GERD.) I've held my own private practice in Northern Manitoba, (where most of you know me from!) and I've also worked in Integrative healthcare clinics alongside medical doctors, dieticians and other allied healthcare professionals. I currently see clients virtually across Canada.

I look at the why behind symptoms, using nutrition science, physiology, and root-cause analysis to help clients understand what their body is communicating.

Each plan includes specific nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations designed to support how the body functions every day.

I also play a strong role in women's health advocacy, helping women navigate the healthcare system, ask better questions, and feel supported in their overall care.

Q4. Can Kylie work with clients who are already seeing another practitioner?

Absolutely. Collaborative care is progressive and has the highest patient satisfaction. I often work collaboratively with doctors, nurse practitioners, naturopaths, and therapists when needed, or out of my scope of practice.

Q5. Are your services covered by insurance?

Aside from Health Spending Accounts, most insurance plans cover my services under “Nutritional Counselling” (It’s the employer’s discretion to include Registered Holistic Nutrition on the nutritional counselling insurance opt-in.)

Q6. Does Kylie focus only on nutrition, or also on lifestyle and supplements?

My approach is comprehensive and lifestyle-based, not just nutrition.

I look at how diet, sleep, stress, movement, and environment all affect hormonal and metabolic balance.

I use minimal supplement philosophy, only recommending what’s necessary and evidence-based.

All supplement recommendations are delivered through my private online dispensary, where each client receives their own secure portal. Inside the portal, clients can:

-View their personalized plan and supplement script.

-Access over 1,000 clinical-grade supplements

-Order directly for home delivery

The supplement plan is created and shared during the appointment.
