A little about us.
The last ten years have been quite the ride. We moved a handful of times, started our business, got to experience the birth of our granddaughter, watched our kids grow into amazing adults and fought battles that changed our family forever.
For those who wonder where we have been these last few years, my husband and I have been battling cancer. We were both diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer in late 2023. January 16, 2025, my husband passed away. He was my person.
We were together for more years than we were apart and losing him is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. While I am stable and doing well, the struggle is something I still go through everyday.
Yet our story is also one of resilience, our family has been forever transformed. We have come so far. My husband, Francis, would be incredibly proud of our progress and the way we’ve chosen to move forward.
That forward momentum includes sharing our journey openly—something that began when Missy walked into our Salmon Arm store one day and became part of this chapter.
