Theme Clarification for Ladies Night 2026

We’ve had a few questions, so let’s clear it up!

The theme for this year’s event is 'Choose Your Era, Own the Night'.

So what does Choose Your Era mean?

It means you get to pick your favourite decade — any decade — and have fun with the fashion and vibe from that time. Think nostalgia, personality, and a little creativity.

You could choose:
• 1920s glam
• 1950s retro
• 1970s disco or boho
• 1980s bold & bright
• 1990s denim & pop culture
• 2000s Y2K
• Or even modern-day chic

The best part? Every table can choose something different, which will make the room at the Don Ross Centre full of fun, variety, and energy on April 18.

So start chatting with your table, pick your era, and get creative 💃✨

Effective today, metal detectors have been installed at the front entrance of Battlefords Union Hospital. This will be a change for all of us who use BUH - but this is a necessary step to keep patients and staff safe.

I stopped in today to try the process and check out the new equipment. Thank you to the teams at the Saskatchewan Health Authority and Garda World for helping to make our local hospital safer for all of us.

We’re Off to a Wonderful Start!

The 26/27 Monthly Lottery launched Wednesday morning (Feb 11th) and the 50/50 jackpot is already at $2,190. What an incredible first day of support from our community and supporters.

This year, the 26/27 Monthly Lottery is dedicated to purchasing an Arjo Patient Bathtub with Lift for Acute Care at BUH. This specialized equipment will enhance patient comfort and dignity while supporting safe care for both patients and staff.
