This week, Ruby- Office Manager/ Dog successfully completed her chemotherapy treatment. She is confirmed to be in remission!
She will still need to travel to Ottawa every 3 months for ultrasounds, but we are so happy that we made it through this very challenging time.
Wednesday appointments have now opened, but quickly filled, spots are available for the end of April.

Ruby had her 1st ultrasound and round of Chemotherapy on Wednesday.
She is in remission.
5 more chemotherapy rounds to go.
It takes a village to get through things like this. But, together we can get through challenging times.
A reminder, please don't hesitate to be vulnerable and seek support as needed.

My girl Rubinda has been diagnosed with a high grade mast cell tumor (cancerous) and will be embarking on weekly chemotherapy treatments in Kanata (starting on January 8th). I'll be sharing her journey on this page because I think it's very important to show and share our vulnerabilities, grief and struggles to not only help ourselves but also others through their journeys.
Ruby says thank you to everyone who supports her on her journey and she will soon return to her office management role at Connective Care ;)
