Ingrown nails are a COMMON concern we see at Pathways Wellness Clinic. Some points to remember:

👣 Don't try and cut out the ingrown yourself; it could make matters worse!
👣 Soak the toe in saline up to 3x/day to reduce presence of infection
👣 Be sure you're wearing proper fitted shoes to reduce risk of ingrown nails
👣 See a Foot Care Specialist to address the issue

We offer a minimally invasive approach.

Worried about the pain or recovery time? STOP WATCHING YOUTUBE VIDEOS! Most cases do not require the nail to be removed. We always use a topical anesthetic to ensure optimal comfort. This also allows us to properly care for the area.

We can also discuss with you some of the common causes of ingrown nails, as well as the treatment options, AND preventative strategies to STOP these pesky issues from returning.

Wondering what ADVANCED FOOT CARE means?

This is not you regular pedicure.

We are a team of nurses who are have received additional certification in care of the foot and lower limbs. We also utilize Best Practice Standards set out by the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses and RNAO Best Practice Guidelines to continually enhance and improve our skills and techniques. We also have specialized tools that provide better results.

We also have the ability to treat MOST foot concerns. As advanced care nurses we can provide similar care to other foot health practitioners, with the exception of surgical interventions.

With nearly 15years of nursing experience, Trista brings a wide variety of nursing skills to the team, and most of all, to our CLIENTS!

Trista has been working in Medical/Surgical Nursing and brings a wealth of knowledge regarding wound care, IV therapy and more! Trista has been practicing Advanced Nursing Foot Care for the past two years and has enjoyed every minute!

With a strong passion for holistic health and exceptional compassion, Trista will be a great asset to the Pathways team.
