Today marks Canada’s first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, honouring the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities.

On behalf of all the staff at Body Back in Motion, we grieve with our Indigenous members, families, and patients for the children who suffered and never returned home, and acknowledge the tragedy of the residential school system. Understanding our history and its continued impact is essential to reconciliation.

The recoveries of over a thousand unmarked graves this year is a national tragedy. This week and for the rest to follow, we stand in solidarity with Survivors and all Indigenous Peoples.

Chiropractors and other regulated health care professionals are NOT affected by today’s issued stay-at-home orders.

This means that Body Back in Motion is still open as usual and appointments are NOT affected.

We will continue to work hard to follow the recommendations from public health for cleaning equipment and touch surfaces, keeping patients distanced from other patients and changing all linens between patients, to name a few.

We ask from you to be honest with pre-screening questions, stay home if you are sick and wear a mask when in the building at all times.
