HEAT WAVE SAFETY

When the temperature rises, safety comes first!!

Stay hydrated-drink water and avoid caffeine and alcohol
Keep cool
Dress smart - light weight, loose-fitting, light colored clothing
Avoid strenuous activity

Know the signs of heat related illness

Look out for headache, dizziness, nausea or confusion.
These may be symptoms of heat exhaustion or heat stroke - seek help immediately, by presenting to the nearest ER or call 911
