You might be strong. You might be fast… but how well do you actually move? 🤔

Our Functional Movement Screening (FMS) takes a closer look at how your body moves day-to-day—helping catch small issues before they turn into bigger problems.

It’s all about moving better, feeling better, and staying injury-free so you can keep doing what you love.

With the season wrapping up, it’s a great time to reset and take care of your body 💪🏻

Curious to see how you move? Let’s find out!

Training the anterior sling 🔗

Why?
Because the body doesn’t work in isolation.

The anterior sling connects: ✨ Your core ✨ Hip flexors ✨ Adductors ✨ And opposite shoulder

This system helps you: ✔️ Stabilize during walking and running ✔️ Control pelvic rotation ✔️ Transfer force efficiently ✔️ Protect the low back

When we challenge it in a single-leg position, we’re building real-life stability. The kind you need for stairs, lifting, carrying, and sport.

If we’re going to “push it” one day… we might as well prepare for it now 😏🤰

These are some of the hip-opening and strengthening movements our physio, Jenna has been doing during pregnancy to ease aches and pains, and to get her body ready for labour.

During pregnancy your hips and pelvis carry more load than ever before. When they don’t move well, you feel it.

Mobility + control = less tension nowStrength + space = better options when it’s time to push 👶

We’re not just stretching for fun. We’re building strength, creating space, and giving baby the best setup possible.

Push it… with purpose 💛

Why should we strengthen the internal rotators of the hip? Because they do a LOT more than most people realize 👀

Your hip internal rotators help: ✔️ Control knee alignment ✔️ Stabilize your pelvis when walking & running ✔️ Absorb force when landing ✔️ Improve cutting and pivoting mechanics ✔️ Reduce strain on the low back and outer hip

When they’re weak, we often see: – Knees collapsing inward – Overuse of the glutes or hip flexors – Persistent knee or lateral hip pain – Poor single-leg stability

Strong internal rotators = better control in motion.

It’s not just about stretching tight hips.. it’s about building balanced strength around the joint.

If you’re dealing with knee, hip, or even low back discomfort, internal rotation strength might be a missing piece 🔍
