💪 Shoulder Strength 101: The Serratus Anterior
The serratus anterior is a key muscle we target often in physical therapy. It helps with scapular protraction, upward rotation, and stabilizing the shoulder blade against the rib cage — all essential for healthy shoulder mechanics. 🦴✨

When this muscle isn’t doing its job, the shoulder can lose stability — especially during overhead movements. Strengthening the serratus can make a big difference for:
✅ Overhead athletes (e.g., swimmers, throwers, lifters)
✅ Desk workers with rounded shoulders or poor posture
✅ Post-op shoulder patients (like rotator cuff repairs)
✅ Anyone dealing with shoulder impingement or scapular winging

Building a strong serratus anterior means building a more stable, efficient, and pain-free shoulder. 💥
