We stress the importance of both the mental & physical aspects of martial arts & integrate yogic principles & overall health within our community. Paul Bedard - Owner/Head Instructor

Paul is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt having trained since 2017 under Andrew Smith of Pure Jiu Jitsu in Durban, South Africa. Paul is also a 200-hour yoga instructor having completed his yoga teacher training at the world-class One Yoga in Ko Pha Ngan, Thailand. in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa and a Nutrition Coaching Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Another amazing evening of celebrating the progress we're all making together on this lovely journey! Jiu Jitsu is hard, it takes dedication, persistence, and maybe a touch of insanity. I could not be more proud of this crew for showing up and doing the work, life gets in the way sometimes but Jiu Jitsu will always be there to help you through it all. Congratulations to everyone who graded, just another small milestone and a time to appreciate one another!

Another amazing evening of celebrating the progress we’re all making together on this lovely journey! Jiu Jitsu is hard, it takes dedication, persistence, and a maybe a touch of insanity. I could not be more proud of this crew for showing up and doing the work, life gets in the way and slows you down a bit sometimes but Jiu Jitsu will always be there to help you through it all. Well last night was rather epic! Having had a bit of time to reflect on the experience I simply come back to an immense feeling of gratitude. Gratitude for all the people that give of themselves to our local jiu jitsu community in whatever way that may be. Whether it be hosting events, being crazy enough to start an academy or just showing up to open mats, cross training at other gyms and sharing your knowledge with others... hopefully filling your own cup in the process.
